Rainbow

The Rainbow collection was borne from a desire to try something different. For the first time, Madina Visconti deviates from her naturalistic motif to create a unique and prismatic collection.

At first glance, it seems to be a typical jewelry collection in rose gold and colored gemstones. But inspecting the jewels further, it becomes apparent that there is more than meets the eye. The transparency of the enamel applied to the bronze sculpted in the shape of a set stone creates, as the French would say, a trompe l’oeil, an optical illusion.

Using classic gemstone cuts, she formed moulds of both the mountings and the stones entirely in bronze. Fascinated by the design, Madina decided to keep part of the collection in natural bronze, without enamel. The experiment that came next was to apply the hot enamels over the bronze “gemstones”, and the result is Rainbow!

Dashing colors in all different shapes, with proportions always a bit accentuated. The collection consists of earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces. However, it also includes unconventional pieces of jewelry: from brooches to barrettes.
