Gocce

In her new collection of bronze and silver jewelry, Madina Visconti evokes the ancestral Etruscan rites “aquaelicium”. Later adopted by the Romans, this ceremony was performed in the Senate with the sacred stone “manalis lapis” from the Temple of Mars. The pontifices would petition the god of the sky Jupiter for rain by pouring water over the stone.
The Gocce collection emulates the freeform of water in nature, from the winsome traces of rain which are transformed into jewels through lost-wax casting in bronze and silver.
Sinuous drops that delicately flow into earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces.
